Wax Press Device
The Wax Press is a large block of soft yellow wax located in the basement of the Eastport Mechanist Seminary. It is used to make imprints of keys, cogs, Gears, springs, and other small items, to be duplicated by Brother Mendelus.[1] The wax itself appears to be heated by a furnace, probably to maintain its malleability, and can produce wax pieces indefinitely.

In the Thief II: The Metal Age mission "Eavesdropping", Garrett uses this to make a wax impression for later to make a copy of the Mechanist's safety deposit box key in First City Bank and Trust to steal the Mechanist Recording.
