A Warhammer is a large Hammer created for battle. The Hammerites considered the hammer to be their most sacred tool since it can be used both to build and to fight and their guards can all be seen wielding them.[1][2] The Hammerites forged Warhammers in the factory area of Cragscleft but also had outsourced part of their production to businesses like Kilgor Weapon Smithing.[3][4][5]
Availability[]
Thief: The Dark Project/Thief Gold[]
Can be picked up and thrown, though not wielded. Hammers are heavy, and when thrown at enemies will causes one point of damage per standing hit. With enough velocity however, even a blow from a short work-hammer can be lethal. Enemies react in pain, but do not investigate, because the attack does not "technically" come from the player.
Thief II: The Metal Age[]
The Warhammer is the same as in The Dark Project. Haunts in this game also wield these Hammers instead of their usual swords.
Thief: Deadly Shadows[]
These again cannot be used by Garrett, but are wielded by Hammerite Guard and Haunts.
Note[]
- Hammerite Guards can kill Zombies permanent with their hammer. It's not known if this is because of the strength of the guard or because the hammer makes an ideal tool to kill zombies.
