The trap

Trigger Glyph, at rest

This glyph is a type of motion sensor employed by Constantine in the upper floors of his mansion. It is carved onto stone tablets projecting from the wall or floor and connects to a nearby trap. Upon detecting an intruder, the glyph does a somersault and springs the trap.

Strategy[]

  • Because the sensitive range of this glyph is very short (2DU), it can usually be avoided.
  • The purple energy bolts fired from stone faces are very slow and must travel a long distance to reach the trigger, giving the player time to escape.
  • The most dangerous trap, which fires arrows from the ceiling, is disabled after the third shot, but will usually harm the player.
