The Thieves' Highway is a slang term for the rooftops, mostly where they are in such a layout as to make it easy for thieves (and the likes) to move around unseen trough The City.

They are mentioned as early as the Thief II: The Metal Age Demo where in Garrett, as in the Thief II: The Metal Age mission "Life of the Party", travels across the rooftops of Dayport to Angelwatch (known as the new mechanist tower in the demo) without touching the ground.[1][2][3]
Other Notable 'Thieves Highways'[]
- Old Quarter - Featured in Thief DS (referred to as such in the Mobile version[4] and original version[5]).
- South Quarter - Featured in Thief DS (Not officially labelled as such but there it is an area where a large shortcut can be made via the rooftops).
