The Bafford Chronicles is a valuable book that does not appear in the game. It was meant to be the third special loot item for the mission Of Brethren... And Betrayers, but was somehow left out. In its place is a second copy of the Imbris Analects.
Keeper Emory, upon seeing one of the Keeper initiates reading this in the dining hall, had objected strongly to such "travesties of the written word" and ordered that the book be destroyed.[1] Exactly what it contains is a mystery, although its title suggests the memoirs of a member of the Bafford family.
Based on the loot count of the other missions, it is estimated that the black market value of this book would not exceed 100g.
