Does DJ Riff's trailer collection page load for anyone?
ftp://djriff.homeftp.net/Media&Texts/Original_Thief3/Video/
I can't get in there. For those who don't know, it includes the rare advertisements, not just Intro trailers or more commonly seen videos.

We might have to contact him about it, and get copies for ourselves uploaded.

- It works right now. Try pinging or tracerouting the server from the prompt, and if successful, switch browser/FTP client. In the worst case, use the ftp command from the console, which is going to be such a hassle.
- I seriously doubt Wikia or Wikimedia/MediaWiki will let us host a gig of video files here. =(

- Quite a few of them look like gameplay footage, so they wouldn't be needed. But which of the others have something new/unused? I see "EIDOS American Trailer" & "ION STORM Trailer 4" have some stuff, but it's quite a bit for to download on a slow connection Sxerks 02:50, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Urgh. Explanation: Of course not for hosting on the Wiki, um, but the ones that have historical meaning should be uploaded somewhere external and linked to, or choice images captured. The first time I went to DJ Riff's page, I had no problems at all. I was just looking to see if he had what I'm looking for. I don't know if that's the collection that has the early Dark Project trailer showing Garrett taking down a silhouetted Dan Thron (with short hair standing on end and the goatee, as he is seen having on the original Dark Project site), and also has a guard getting shot through the chest with a fire arrow, the crystal poking out of the guard's chest, before the fire arrow explodes. The kill sequence is echoed in the T3 trailer which is hosted on IMDb, making book-ends. It's the green-screened and painted animated sequences, not the gameplay footage that's most important to me, and is not seen anywhere else that I've ever known about.

Scene Missing[]
This is missing the intro's very first scene, or at least its content:
Cry, Brethren, for the Betrayer is Come. Your Hands will be Crippled, and you will Perish as the Wretched Outcast in the Bleak Unwritten. And you will know the face of the Destroyer -Recovered text from The Prophecitus, missing for 132 years

I do not recall any text in the trailer, except for the text or VO of Garrett. Big McLargeHuge 01:03, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
"TDS ThiefTrailer" is a misnomer. It's the intro cutscene and it begins with the above excerpt. Fish Preferred 01:12, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
