My best non-canon guess that would fit with the iconography of the Thief Universe is that the Scurry-Bot was meant to be a mechanical replacement for rats. 65.49.137.248 19:52, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Ehcmier
In a few fms i have seen them be used as maintainence robots or the like. That seems most probable to me.Big McLargeHuge 02:31, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
I'm speaking mainly about game-mechanics. What you mentioned is not really in conflict with my idea. It would make sense for Karras to take inspiration from the efficiency and resourcefulness of the tiny creatures, and create something better in a Builder-worshipper's eyes--something that repairs rather than destroys, something clean and free of all the fleshiness. Although, I never knew that anybody ever got the scurry-bots working. Any explanation how they maintain anything with their tiny li'l arms? Heh heh. Maybe they root out problems. 71.216.31.182 03:36, 28 September 2008 (UTC)Ehcmier
They could be used as spies too. I mean, they are very small and fast, so perfectly suitable for "sniffing" around. Or they were used to hunt rats and other animals which the Mechanists didn't want to have inside their buildingsThehoosh
Sounds a bit like those mouse droids in Star Wars. :) Hexhunter 23:40, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
I wonder where I can find the Scurry-Bots. --John5timzum 20:20, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
- In dromed it's under Archetypes/Object (-1)/physical (-7)/Creature (-8)/Robot (-1783)/SmallRobot (-3231)/ScurryBot (-3232)
- I don't recall it in the game anywhere.--Sxerks 00:53, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I think it should be said somewhere in the article.
Bizarre Online Business[]
I was looking for info on the bot's stats and object model. I didn't find any. One thing I did find was this: [1]
Apparently this company in India is publishing and selling books of copied wikia articles. What kind of market are they aiming for? Why couldn't they rip off a decent/relevant cover image as well? Fish Preferred (talk) 19:41, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
What the... ass? I mean... ass? That's just bizarre. Is this the book equivalent to an online Mexican pharmacy? Obs we cant do anything about it, as I doubt it would be bought. Besides, it's as pointless as buying the last edition of Microsoft Encarta. Big McLargeHuge (talk) 20:40, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
