Quoting: "Length: 2.96 DromEd Units" The radii of the moss patches were claimed to be 2m here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1307346#post1307346, but I'm pretty sure it's an approximation. Is the Length a diameter, perhaps, or is it the arrow itself? Or the crystal? And what's a DromEd Unit going to be in real-world measurements? Is it possible to use the three feet of Bafford's Sceptre (according to Grimworth & de Perrin's description) as a measuring tool for converting the DromEd Unit to feet and/or meters?

Thanks for digging that up for me! While you were doing that, I went into DromEd. The results are comparable.
Sxerks has told me that 1 DU equals about 10 inches, or 25.4 centimetres. In game, it does seem that 1 DU is shy of a standard foot. Using DromEd to drop a moss arrow onto a surface with a texture that is rendered as 2 DUs squared, I've determined that the moss carpet aurally mutes a 10 DU diameter circle, while visually appearing to have an 8 DU coverage.
So, approximately:
Aurally, coverage is a 10 DU diameter circle, or 2.54 metres, or 8.33/2.78 feet/yards. Visually, coverage is an 8 DU diameter circle, or 2.03 metres, or 6.67/2.22 feet/yards.
Heh heh.
Sorry for the tangent. To answer your question, the length of the arrow itself is given in DromEd Units by DromEd itself. When anything is selected, especially items with physical properties, its dimensions are given in DUs, its xyz position is given in DUs, and its rotation in three dimensions given in DUs. The length, width, and breadth of the arrow object is 2.96 DUs. If it were two metres than it would be taller than Garrett, and we see that's not the case when we find any arrows.

Right. Thanks. I assume the sceptre object length is equal to the arrow object length, then.
It's clear to me that the DromEd Unit deserves its own page. Either that, or there's gonna be some heavy citation needed. =)
I'll create it using what you've written here. We can discuss T3ED measurements over there.

Article length & readability[]
Thanks for the help clearing up stuff. It's not easy to author articles when the target audience is as undefined as here, especially when one hasn't really done much of this before, but together I believe we can make something wonderful.

Confused[]
It says stealth bonus: none, but they muffle your footsteps. Why aren't they considered as a stealth bonus? 03:52, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
- not sure why that is even listed here or any other weapon article.--Sxerks 16:06, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
- yeah, that does seem like it shouldn't be there or any others for that matter 6rosalina 22:37, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
I believe that it is a damage or condition modifier. The blackjack always deals one hp, but can only knock out while the Target is unaware. Same deal with a backstab, same with an arrow snipe. It doesn't have anything to do with the stealthyness of the weapon.
