You guys went wild here =) Anyway, there is a thing I'd like to comment. Have you observed something strange in the first 3 Haunts in Return to the Haunted Cathedral (the ones in the main cathedral room)? When they become alerted all 3 emit red smoke for some moments. I believe that this smoke shows that they are bound to each other, but I don't know what to make of it yet. Dan7 10:02, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- They are bound to The Eye, and in DromEd, they are labeled "M11-EyeMinions", minions of The Eye. They have special properties, yes, including the particle attachment "HauntSmoke". It would still require fanon to make a good guess at the devs' intentions. They also have a link to Brother Murus, since he wants the player to kill them. When they are all dead, Murus can pass on.Ehcmier 21:45, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Ehcmier
What is the status of the ghost in Markham's Isle (in the level "Precious Cargo")? While aesthetically and thematically the ghost is obviously an Apparition, behaviour wise he seems to act very similarly to the regular Hammer Haunts - he can be killed with a plain old sword like a Haunt, and he does not appear to have as much health as an Apparition. --BoldEnglishman 22:33, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- DromEd shows it as a Haunt, although the model name says "pirate" and the model is different. Health Points are 15 just like a haunt. Other properties are the same as well. The Pirate Haunt is very fast and has freezing voice effects just like the regular haunts. Dan7 21:23, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Another weird Haunt is the one walking around the Shoalsgate cellblock. It's a modified male pagan phantom, borrowed from Trail of Blood. Ehcmier 23:22, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Ehcmier
"Join us NOW!"[]
It's a joke, right? Because, in-game they beckon Garrett to join the Haunts. On Wikia it's more like commanding the reader to join and contribute... good one if you ask me! --Breakin'Benny (talk) 13:44, October 28, 2016 (UTC)
Indeed, my friend. I remember seeing that years ago one day while I was editing. Very clever. DominusMortem (talk) 15:28, October 28, 2016 (UTC)
It is in silent homage to how it was shown to the TTLG Thief forums so many years ago. "Feel free to join us, join us now!" Big McLargeHuge (talk) 02:36, October 29, 2016 (UTC)
- You may've also noticed I uploaded the soundbyte for the quote, I did so with Game Extractor. It's a utility that can rip resources from various game files. --Breakin'Benny (talk) 22:44, October 29, 2016 (UTC)
- I've always wondered how that kind of thing was always done. Good work on uploading the soundbyte. :) DominusMortem (talk) 16:28, October 30, 2016 (UTC)
