The Shemenovs were a group of blacksmiths. They were most likely a fairly wealthy family as they had a estate in Dayport.[1]

However, it was said that their wares were cheaper then others, but this reflected in the quality and the Hammerites noted their shoddy craftsmanship, notablily so when Brother Tarius brought a new knife from them (cheaper then using a Hammerite Smith) and it broke at supper.[2]

As well as being in the blacksmith trade, Shemenov was a contact of the Warden Raputo, according to Ramirez's records, despite them living in Webster's district.[3]

The guards at Ramirez' Manor were envious of what they saw as much better uniforms, in Black and Silver, with Halberds for weapons.[4]

At least one servant, known as 'P' at the Shemenov estate was engaging in some activity that involved them meeting with another servant (Known as 'N') at Grimmad's Alchemist shop. They were bothered by Lucy Walker, from the Truart Estate, peering into the shop, believing some illegal activity was going on.[5] 'P' was able to use their friendship with Watch officer Morgan to get her to desist.[6]

Notes[]

  • Lady Shemonov may have been a member of the Shemenov family. The difference in spelling may simply be an alternate spelling for the family name, or a clerical error made by her or the tellers of the First City Bank and Trust.
