This person lived during the time of the Precursors.
Master Ruitan was a high-ranking precursor who lived in Karath-din at the time of its destruction. At some point after the death of Emperor Va-Taraq, when the tremors had begun, Master Ruitan gave a speech to the Guild of Enlightenment stressing the need to evacuate the city, and to protect the tower at all costs. The priests of the city claimed that the tremors were nothing more than the earth crying out for her departed brother, and it seemed that most average citizens believed them.[1]
