Floating Rock in the Tower of Air
In mastery of my element, I leap from stone to falling stone. Boulders float as feathers.
The rock lift is a type of magical elevator platform used by mages of the Hand Brotherhood. It travels in an endless loop and can move in any direction. Its flat upper surface takes on a consistency similar to a cooled lava flow, but from below, it looks remarkably similar to a giant piece of caramel chocolate. Like all elevators in the Dark Engine, the lift has enough mass to kill anyone blocking its flight path.
Whole fleets of these are encountered on the second floor of the Tower of Earth and, uncharacteristically, throughout most of the Tower of Air in the TG mission "The Mage Towers".
