Rat Beasts are Maw creatures found in Thief: Deadly Shadows only. They carry swords as their main weapon and speak in the same broken pidgin as the Pagans.
They steal Kurshok eggs for food, and have a general disrespect for all other life.
Strategy[]
- Broadhead Arrow - one when standing still, two when walking
- Backstab - kills one instantly.
- Fire Arrows or Mines – one Fire Arrow will take out an unaware Rat Beast
- Gas Arrows or Gas Mines – if discovered it could be more effective and less dangerous to simply put the creatures out
- Blackjack - yes
