Rampone Dockside Shipping was a business located at 1369 Winston Avenue in the Wayside Dock District, operated by N. Rampone and Jason Rampone. The business served as both a warehouse for shipping contracts and as office space for various small businesses.
Layout[]
Rampone Dockside Shipping was a large complex which consisted of two buildings. Building A consisted primarily of offices and workshops of both the clients and of the Rampone administration, while Building B, located adjacent to the docks, primarily housed large shipping bays for incoming and outgoing cargo. At the time of Garrett's visit to the company, Building B had been leased entirely to the Mechanists, who had almost entirely filled all of the cargo bays with their own machinery and cargo.
Both buildings had an outside catwalk and were connected on the second floor via two bridges.
Building A[]
Building A was a three-storey building with ten units which were rented out to various clients. The ground floor consisted entirely of the rented units, while the second housed both the administrative offices and the upper floors of the more expensive, two-storey units. The third floor consisted only of an empty, medium-sized room which provided access to the roof.
Rentable Units[]
All units in Building A were numbered and all units had a regular door and a larger bay door. The regular doors had regular key locks, but the bay doors were controlled by special keypads which could be found in small, locked access rooms around the building.
During The Metal Age, the units were rented out to the following clients:
- 6937: Lord Porter - Lord Porter's Art Gallery
- 7732: E. B. Bramrich, Accountant - E. B. Bramrich's Accounting
- 0624: Lady Angelica - Lady Angelica's Experimental Apothecary
- 0457: Cid Capezza, Inventor - Cid Capezza's Workshop
- 0590: Venik Kilgor - Kilgor Weapon Smithing
- 6013: Sven Mynell - Mynell Steaks
- 5188: T. M. Blackheart, Musician - T. M. Blackheart Recording Studio
- 7933: D. M. Gilver - Gilver Exporting Company
- 0266: Lucky Selentura, Entrepreneur - Lucky Selentura's Entrepreneur Office
- 0928: Noah Jerm, Lensgrinder - Noah Jerm's Lensgrindery
Gonzalez was a former tenant that was evicted because of the Mechanists.[1]
Building B[]
Building B was the one closest to the docks. The ground floor consisted primarily of a large storage room, with two large workshops in the northern end of the building. The second floor contained two more workshops in the north, with administrative offices in the south end. The third floor consisted only of president N. Rampone's office and a conference room.
The Mechanists had rented out all four workshops in Building B, and even used some of the storage space on the first floor. Rampone supervisor J. Osterlind and Captain Davidson used the storage room to covertly smuggle Rare Spice.[2]
