Lord Mani Rammstein was a very powerful Importer to the city, with connections overseas, During the Metal Age.
Unknown to his overseas business partner, he was embezzling money from the business. The City Watch found out about this and decided to use the information to lead them to catch larger criminals who did more serious crimes.[1]
It is also known that his business partner also had two of the cities top cleaners on retainer (people who are able to remove incriminating physical evidence, such as witnesses and corpses). The Watch may be using this information to blackmail Rammstein more then just watch him closely to gain extra information.
