The Quintus family was a wealthy and influential noble family in The City. Although they were rich enough to afford a large crypt in the Bonehoard,[1] they complained to the builders about the high cost upon completion of the tomb. Nevertheless, they agreed to pay.[2]
The Quintus family were in possession of a valuable horn, known as the Horn of Quintus, which was buried in the crypt with one of the members of the Quintus family.[3][4][5][6][7]
Despite their family crypt, not all members of the Quintus family were buried together. In the catacombs underneath Fort Ironwood in the Old Quarter district, lies a tomb with the name Samuel Quintus. The tomb mentioned that the man had brought shame to his family and was found dead inside a brothel.[8]
