Overview[]
- Garrett sells the opal at Black Market Bertha's and gets a letter from Artemus. The Keepers need him to obtain two objects for further study: The Builder's Chalice from the Hammerites and the Jacknall's Paw from the Pagans. In return Garrett can listen to their prophecies.
- St. Edgar's Church is where the Hammerites keep the Chalice. The temple holds the crypt of some long-ago Hammerite hero St. Edgar. This day is his holy day and there is an all-night service. Hopefully the Hammerites will sit down praying rather than looking for Garrett.

Secrets[]
- A sizeable attic compartment above the guardhouse and adjacent buildings can be accessed via a series of awnings in Black Alley or by the bare stone wall across from Garrett's home. In it are two Flash Bombs and a bottle of Fine Wine. This area is only accessible after Garrett has obtained the Climbing Gloves from the fence in the Dock area which becomes accessible only on Day 3.
- In the house near the Docks gate, there is a gemstone in the chandelier and a tunnel behind a chair in the bedroom, which leads out onto the rafters of the floor below.

Trivia[]
- There is a phantom chair in the guardhouse near the Stonemarket gate. It is impossible to sit upon.
- When pursued by melee enemies, Garrett can crawl under the small porch across from his house, attacking through the planks when they come up the steps.
- The Docks can be accessed as early as day 1 by climbing onto the roof of the gatehouse via the pipes on the west side and falling off the edge of the invisible floor. Unfortunately, this means Garrett will be trapped between the quarantine gates of the two districts.
