Brother Mendelus was a Mechanist who worked in the workshop at the Eastport Mechanist Seminary. He was a forger and worked with Wax molds to produce small articles like keys, cogs, gears, springs and the like.[1] The Mechanists probably used these parts to construct various mechanical devices.[2]
