The Mechanist Priest is a high ranking member of Mechanists. Unlike their hammerite equivalent both male and female priests exist. They are seldom seen during missions, but at least one can be found during most Mechanist-heavy missions as commanders, overseeing the lower orders of the order. During The Metal Age many Nobles of The City slowly replaced their hammerite priests with the newer Mechanist priests, which caused resentment along some of their staff.[1][2]

Mechanist priests can call on some form of power of The Master Builder in order to cast spells, in this case flaming gears, just like their hammer equivalent.
