High Priest Markander was a High Priest of the Order of the Hammer, during the Dark Project era. He was in charge of giving approval for new Hammerite Novices, held the master key of the Hammer Temple, had no access restrictions in it and kept the Holy Symbol in his possession.

At the end The Dark Project he was captured by The Trickster's forces and rescued by Garrett.
