Margaret appears to be the Wife or Lover of Sir Christopher as she joined him at the Mechanist party at Angelwatch despite being missing from the Guest list.[1]
She first was against the idea of having Masked Servants as she believed them to just be slaves but when Christopher explained to her what the Servants could do, she became happy with having Masked Servants. She also seems to be fond of gardening as she was keen to find out whether the Servants could plant Azaleas or Roses and wanted to use them to trim the Lilac bushes.[2]
