The maps in Thief: Deadly Shadows that have to be acquired, either trough stealing, purchasing or other means.

| St. Edgar's Church | It can be acquired from two Thugs who are standing just outside the entrance of said church.[1] |

| Pagan Sanctuary | It can be found with Leafer in the tunnels under South Quarter.[2] | |
| The Sunken Citadel | It can be found in a cell in the Stonemarket City Watch Station occupied by Gravid.[3] The map can simply be reached by picking the lock after which Gravid is released who then will run away. |

| Overlook Mansion | It can be found by reading the ship's manifest of the Abysmal Gale. |

| Clock Tower | The mechanical plan is a set of instructions for maintenance, required to complete the mission.[4] The plan includes instructions on gear maintenance and safety, as well as a map of the boiler room.[5]
Three plans can be found in the clock tower: one at Father Debole's desk in the upper levels; one in the foreman's office in the basement; and a last one pasted to the wall by the front door (the first two are cylindrical scrolls). Note that collecting any one of these plans will complete the objective, but only the last one can be read.[5] |

| Shalebridge Cradle | It can be found in the final resting place of Moresy Blander in the catacombs of Fort Ironwood.[6] |

| Wieldstrom Museum | It can be found for sale at Carmen's Place for a price of 1500g after completing the last city mission. Coincidentally, a replica of the Crown and Heart can also be bought from Carmen which might make it easier to complete the next mission.[7] |

- Due to a design flaw in the Xbox version, Garrett always has all of the maps at the start of each mission, so there is no need to collect these maps.
