The imbris analects are two (or three) gold covered books that the Keepers sought to study but the Keeper Council was still undecided on the matter of whether they should be moved to the Hall of Scribes or remain where they were. If the Keeper Council votes Yes, one of them is supposedly moved from the Elder's Library to the Hall of Scribes.[1] This process does not require the book to be present, however, making it possible for a quick thief to steal it twice. The other sits on a table in the Dining Hall.
Continuity Error[]
Beside each copy is a scroll detailing the recent arrival of the book from overseas, yet the discussion in the council chamber suggests that the book had been in the library for years.[1] It further states that the book was already moved to the Scribe Room.[2]
Notes[]
- It is not known whether they are named after their author or are named after something else.
Trivia[]
- Although it is supposed to be a unique item, there are actually three copies of this book within the Keeper Compound.
- Evidently, it was added to the mission as a replacement for the Bafford Chronicles, which was left out of the game.[3]
- The Title, 'Imbris Analects' roughly translates to 'The Gathering Storm'. which may hint at it being about the upcoming age, OR if it was in fact named after Keeper Imbris (if such a person exists), It would more translate to "The Collective words of Imbris" in reference to 'The Sayings of Confucius' which are also known as The Analects of Confucius, or somethings just 'the Analects'.
