The cart can be found in all Thief games, although it is most rare in TDS. It is assumed to be pulled by hand, due to its low-rolling open basin and the absence of draught traces. Its popularity in TDP/TG and T2 is curious as it does not look efficient at all (it even has octagonal wheels, due to engine limitations). This and the Rowboat are the only physical objects in DromEd that do not fit in any subcategory.
A few examples of the TDS version can be pushed around and make for very effective barricades. This is because the wheels respond only to rotational movement, and so cannot be pushed directly, except by the cart or another mobile object. A moveable cart can be found once in Old Quarter, and every day in Auldale.
