Gamall, or Translator Gamall, was a little girl and Keeper (possibly one of the youngest members of their society) who stood besides Caduca, translating her prophesies into the common tongue so that other Keepers could understand them.[2]

Gamall has the appearance of a pale and seemingly emotionless little girl with black hair and wore a black dress.

Gamall is first seen after Garrett is brought back to the Keeper Library by two keepers and translate Caduca's prophecy about The Metal Age.
In Thief: Deadly Shadows she continues her role as translator translating the prophecies besides Caduca. She seems to have regressed in her role as she had difficulties translating the prophecy from the Compendium of Reproach. After the dead of Caduca Orland appointed her as the new interpreter but during her inauguration ceremony her true form is revealed.[3][4]

In game, Translator Gamall appears only on day four, walking around the room and balcony situated above the front atrium of the Keeper Library.[5] She can easily be killed, even by accident, resulting in failure.

- Like other females, a mesh error causes her to grow several inches when alerted.
- Due to an error in scaling, she does not actually touch the ground, but hovers slightly.
