Eli's journal with gutted mackerel and loot.
Old Eli was a resident of The Docks in Thief: Deadly Shadows. Unusual things have happened to Old Eli that most people wouldn't believe, such as finding a piece of loot in a gutted mackerel. Once, while carving a scrimshaw, Eli spotted a large metal whale surface, close enough that he could hear it, read "Cetus Amicus" on the hull, and see it "breathe fire".[1]
