The Drilling Machine, or Hand Drill, is a hefty piece of Mechanist mining equipment, useless and worthless, serving only as a distraction tool. Two can be found on Markham's Isle in Precious Cargo, along with other Mechanist miscellany such as the Diver's Helmet, and one in the KD Site in Kidnap. It appears to be part of a larger apparatus or perhaps a Worker Bot accessory, judging by its unwieldy bulk and short power cord. The drill has a replaceable bit which is either alloy or diamond tipped.
There appears to be a short second drill bit protruding from the side. This could be either purely aesthetic or an attachment point of some kind.
