The ghost of Cedar
Cedar was a Pagan villager residing in Beck o' the Wills. He and Fern eked out a living by tending local plants in a small garden outside their house. A trader named Jabril purchased his ferny plants and sold them to fern-fevered nobles for a hefty price. He was paid a paltry sum of six halfpenny coins with one extra as bonus.[1]
Jabril later double crossed him by alerting Watch Officer Morgan to his route home through Carter's Gate (Pagan herbals are banned from The City during The Metal Age).[2] This plot failed, however, as Cedar was killed in his own house during the Mechanist invasion (Trail of Blood).
