Discussion[]

Geography has some problems, names like "places" and "locations" seem pointless.

Most categories have spaces between the words, so categories like "Questitems" and "Questitem Loot" should be separated, or other categories with added spaces should have the spaces removed.

Most categories are capitalized like titles, but some have only the first word capitalized.

The "Golem" category, while an accurate description, is a term not used, so it should eventually be replaced. I don't have a better one than "Statue, Animated": TERMINUS ANIMUS:

Terminus: a boundary stone or marker; Rom. Myth. the deity presiding over boundaries and landmarks
Animus: Literally a soul, mind, disposition, passion; an animating force or underlying purpose; intention
  • Obviously not a BIG deal, but I noticed Category:Jewelry Loot has "Jewelery" spelled incorrectly.
  • One of the pages in that category, Coethe Medallian, should be spelled with "Medallion".
  • Why Category:Burglar, instead of the more commonly used "Thief"?
  • Category:Islands is listed twice under Geography.Ehcmier 05:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Ehcmier

  • Crockery doesn't include forks and knives, but DromEd just has it all listed under Household, and T3Ed has it listed under DiningWare.
  • The fine wines are listed as "FineWine" in DromEd, and "VintageWine" in T3Ed, and are in a very different hierarchy. Unless I'm forgetting something, and/or if there really is a Golden Pancake loot in TDS, I don't think there is any other kind of consumable called loot. Ehcmier 09:15, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Ehcmier
I was completely unaware that T3Ed had categorised Loot items because I never tried out T3Ed. Sorry for inventing my own category names :) You may recategorize them as you see fit! Sorry again! -- Drtomjenkins 10:07, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Come up with names that work for both DromEd and T3Ed together they don't have to be the exact hierarchy names from DromEd or T3Ed.--Sxerks 15:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, just ask if something is inaccessible on your end, and one of us can look it up! Ehcmier 06:32, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Ehcmier

loot categories[]

There should be a sub-category for gold and other "metal loot" in order to accommodate items like trvase4.

"Purse" and "Purse of Coins" are really the same thing, but Purse of Coins is TDS specific and Purse is T1 and T2 specific. These should be combined.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.88.15.74‎ (talkcontribs)

The categories are per their location in the Dromed hierarchy.--Sxerks 04:23, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
Is there some other, non-object-hierarchy, way of categorizing loot? The giant LC gemstone makes sense in the "Gem" category, but DromEd classifies it as jewellery. This would be confusing for those who don't know DromEd. 174.93.113.117 22:12, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
