Main category for everything related to the The Dark Mod, a long-running, award-winning and very successful project at building a standalone freeware stealth game that offers a Thief-like gameplay in more modern graphics and with many improvements, though without any copyright ties to the Thief series.
The Dark Mod was created and is being continuously, tirelessly developed and improved by the "Broken Glass Studios" team, an international collection of Thief fans and stealth game fans who work on the project on a volunteer basis in their free time. As of early 2017, The Dark Mod is also available (as freeware) on Steam.
