Lords and Ladies, from The Baron to lesser nobles.
This is the feudal system of government in The City. Most of the City's residents who bear the title "Lord", "Lady", or some other rare titles are considered nobility. A nobleman in the City usually has higher privileges and capabilities, both financial and political, than the main body of the population. They tend to have nice manor houses, to large mansion estates. The Baron is supposed to be on top of the feudal system, with several tiers of nobility below him. High nobility members are closer to the Baron and are more powerful politically. The lesser noblemen have limited privileges and some even pay a so-called Taxgelt – a tax paid by nobility to their superiors on higher tiers.
