The City Watch were planning to hold their annual Policeman's Ball at Captain Pearsal's Mansion in Dayport.This may have been the intended location for the T2 mission "Blackmail", but the ball was instead held at the Truart Estate.[1]
The ball was to have Open bar and an all you can eat buffet, compliments of the Crippled Burrick Pub, as well as music by 'The Taffer Boys'. It is unknown whether the same events were scheduled for the Truart Estate's ball.[2] Due to the fact that the text does not appear ingame, and other texts of this type are jokes, it is fairly certain that this paragraph should not be taken too seriously.
