Camels are a desert dwelling creature not native to The City. Adept Haseki Baeyzar ordered Abrucha to send Lucca and an assistant to purchase, amongst other items, one camel for experimentation.[1]
In the fight between Lady Van Vernon and Master Willey's guards, the insult "camel-mannered" was thrown around. [2]
