The Bugbeast is a Chaos Beast, resembling a sort of hybrid between a man and a mantis. These creatures are dangerous and rather common among the Trickster's army. They often act as ranged support for the faster Ape Beasts and Craybeasts.
Strategy[]
Due to their high health and ranged attack, Bugbeasts are quite dangerous. It is advisable either to avoid them entirely, or to confront them with a Gas Arrow or a few Fire Arrows. The Bugbeast's bug shot is dangerous and difficult to evade; the splash from bug shots does more damage than a direct hit. Bugbeasts also have the ability to stop and create an insect swarm obstacle. Even though the Bugbeast has no melee attack the Bug Shot can kill from close range in a matter of seconds.
The bugbeast's movement is very slow, and is easier to outrun than zombies.
- Backstab – It will kill it with one swing
- Blackjack – Yes
- Broadhead Arrow - Takes 4 in total when caught off guard
- Gas Arrow – Heavily recommended against this beast
- Mines – This creature is difficult to battle; set traps for it before it notices anything
